Canyon Creek

I clicked the random generator in Wikipedia 3 times and the first two were in foreign languages, so luckily I landed on Canyon Creek on the 3rd try and decided to go with a full on folk approach to this song. I like to stack harmonies so this was a quick and fun project that I did in one day with my guitar, uke, bass, MIDI mellotron flutes, and piano. Enjoy!
Looking for feedback on
The song idea is a swell of harmonies and flow (like a river). Does that carry across to the listener?

YAY DERS
bobbing up and down on a tube on a warm river in idaho. really love the “i’ve never been” section, makes me very happy.

This makes my heart feel good. The flow of those flutes or bg soft synths are a PERFECT bed for this. They work really well tying the mix together. Great vocal mix. I honestly like everything about this track. That beautiful piano. I second nick’s lazy river comment. just pure good stuff. thank you!

Sup Anders! Yeah big fan of this one. Love that organ pad. So freakin’ warm. Your vocal delivery (as always) is phenomenal. I want you to sing me to sleep JUST ONCE ANDERS GOD DAMMIT. Re: river flow — yep, I’d say the rolling piano part and harmony stack does that quite nicely.

ANDERS, welcome! This is beautiful. It is flowing. I’ve also possibly never heard the word “snacks” in a song.
