Wiki-drew a crater on the Moon’s northern pole named “Main.”
Tried to make a blown-out music-box-feel and tried to convey something like an ascension and a landing.

Cheers,

This is my first midi-work, Should I have tried to dial it in even more? I was torn between a looseness and the ability to tweak and fix everything.

Definitely felt the space vibes! I really liked the subtle movement and the background vocals made me feel like I was getting a hug from the universe (:

love this sound & feel, and def echo nick’s observation that you “playing” the midi (vs. programming it manually) gives it life & removes the roboboy that plays a lot of EDM. this had heart and soul and touch. keep dialing yourself in, that’s where the good stuff is 🙂

yes baby bring on the SYNTHZZZZZZZZZ.

i’m excited to learn more about your brain through music! I really really like the faint voices in the background. Great great choice.

such an interesting point to bring up, about the metronomic precision that usually goes hand in hand with midi arrangements. this piece is playful and grand and keeps my attention i think largely due to its amount of looseness. glad you went that route, and i think this will inspires me to consider this route in the future 🚀

i love that everything feels like an echo of itself, and the looseness and organic tempo changes create the tension that makes this super interesting and enjoyable.

makes me feel very ready for a trip.. how ’bout heading to Main on Moon?

Dude, I love Synth Kris. This world makes so much sense to me. I think you struck the balance of loose and tight pretty dang well. Your vocals are awesome in this one. I hear some Animal Collective. This is more a composition/arrangement suggestion, but I would’ve loved to hear the bass motion embellished at one point with some big fat synth bass.

I really liked this! I really felt the extra-terrestrial music box vibes.
